Barack Obama at a recent rural elementary school assembly in East Texas asked the audience for total quiet.  Then, in the silence, he started to slowly clap his hands once every few seconds, holding the audience in total silence.

Then he said into the microphone, "Children, every time I clap my hands together, a child in America dies from gun violence."

Then, little Richard Earl, with a proud East Texas drawl, pierced the quiet and said:  "Well, dumb ass stop clapping!"

This is our new friend Padre.  Our human's daughter is moving back home after living in another state for the last 2 years and bringing us a new playmate.  He is really sweet for a dog and lives with 3 other cats so he speaks our language!

This is what you do on a rainy day!

Thunder Rolled this morning as I lay there with my eyes closed and dreamed of catching those birds in the impending snow!  Oh, what a happy cat I am today!

I, on the other hand, am ticked off at being disturbed!  Leave me alone to my own dreams of chasing field mice!  I am sitting patiently in the snow covered bushes in my natural camouflage!  Snow is my time to shine so PLEASE let me dream!

Cats in the spotlight... A Tiger to Be Exact!

I watch the tv with all my human companions and when I hear a Tiger is in the news, I pay attention!  Turns out, the pro-golfer Tiger Woods can't drive much better than a cat!  How do you come out of your driveway and have such a spectacular crash?  Was he leaving in a mad rage?  Did his wife use the golf club on the window BEFORE or After the crash?  Something smells fishy here.  It appears to be coming from the kitchen so I'm going to investigate and hopefully get a snack!

Keep me posted on that Tiger!

Cats are the pampered pets of the world, with our humans meeting our every need but there are so many other animals out there that need your help.  Many struggle to find food and their natural habitats are being destroyed by progress, wild fire and natural disasters each year.

Teaching children to care for us and our wild counter-parts is a vital concern to all animal survival.  Our future is in their hands so please teach them well to love, have compassion and look after our continued survival through habitat protection.

Another Reason Cats are Superior To Dogs

Once again, we demonstrate our superior intellect by observing the stupid dog and it's behavior.  My human has 3 dogs outside and as I sit here, immersed in the warmth of the heater, beside my human, I observe a stupid dog eating his own poop!  How revolting! 

Hey, I might be able to reach my own behind, but that doesn't mean I like it!

My humans are concerned about their basic freedoms being challenged by the new administration.  They should be!  The word from my friends around the world confirms there is a World Group trying to take over and have ultimate power.  I was disappointed in how the elections turned out because knowing what is going on and being able to actually convince our humans to see it is two different things!  Actions have been in motion for many years for a one world power but I hope American's are fierce enough in their beliefs and strong enough to defend their individualistic natures to keep The United States, united and free.

In 1852, Louisa May Alcott published her first story, "The Rival Painters: A Story of Rome".  She will later write one of my favorite books Little Women in 1868.  It is rumored that her cat "Ralph" was my great, great, great grandcatfather. I like to think I come from famous blood lines, thus the name "Lucky".

In 2004 Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat died in Paris at age 75.  He was partially eaten by his cat Edgar since he didn't leave him anything in his will!  You go Edgar!  Don't worry, his cousin Vlatemier took him in.  Together, they manage an underground cathouse and are doing very well!

I've sent the first draft of my story  A Tail of Two Kitties to the publisher this morning.  Nothing to do but wait and sleep now.

The Cat's Meow

My name is Snowball and I really don't give a crap what you think!

I am my own boss, I do what I please.  My days are filled with hunting, sleeping, eating and oh, yes, gossip.  We neighborhood cats talk about all your current events including that ridiculous outfit my neighbors owner was wearing the other day!

We do listen to the radio and television when you have it on and think it is so funny that people believe they rule the world. HA!  It's the animals that control the political visions, the measure of compassion in the world, and yes, the expendable income!  I mean, look at this face... would you de-nigh me anything????  I think not.

We have a silent code not visually detectable to most humans.  Honey, I could tell you stories about what is going on in other parts of the world that would make your hair stand on end!!!

So, in short, I really love my owner and have decided to share with the rest of the world a few interesting tid bits to keep you humans better informed from the cats point of  "MEW"!
